The Sporting Globe is a modern bar and dining concept where New York Sports Bar will meet with ‘true blue’ Casual Family Dining, whilst paying homage to the role of sporting clubs within the Australian psyche.
The search for the location took over 12 months and spanned 3 states. Geelong was chosen due to its large community involvement in local sport, and unrivalled passion for its clubs including the mighty Geelong Cats.
Renovations designed by renowned Architects, Buro 7, will commence shortly to transform the old Preston Hotel into a world class venue. A warm and vibrant atmosphere will be created with historic sporting moments captured from around the globe.
The menu will feature the very best in Aussie pub cuisine, along with international best sellers such as NY Buffalo Chicken Wings and signature sauces. A large range of boutique and international beers will be on display, along with a selection of local wines and feature cocktails.
